September 15-17: Paeroa Vintage & Classic Car Show weekend

The 11th annual Paeroa Rotary Vintage & Classic Car Show includes a street parade from 11am Saturday from Taylor Ave, congregating in Wharf St for a car display and live entertainment. It’s a family fun day out for a gold coin donation entry. Special attractions include an original 1929 gypsy caravan and replica long-range desert vehicles commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Barce Raid in Libya. The WWII Historical Re-enactment Society will carry out a fire power demonstration and military vehicles and static displays will be on show. A mystery car ramble departs at 2pm. The Valley Cruisers invite people to join them on a car run on Sunday, meeting at The Refinery at 9am for breakfast. For more information visit www.paeroa.org.nz/events

September 24: Matamata Rod & Custom Club Swap Meet - Matamata

The Matamata Rod & Custom Club Swap Meet will be held at the club rooms, 222 Mangawhero Rd, Matamata from 7am on Sunday, September 24. Sellers $10 and buyers gold coin donation. Phone Terrence 027 277 6873 or Ricky 027 333 9846 for more information.

September 30: Tauranga Street Machines & Customs 39th Anniversary Bash – Tauranga

This year’s Show n Shine event will be held at Greerton Village as part of the Greerton Blossom Festival on Saturday, September 30. Registration from 10am. Entry off Chadwick Rd from 9am; show from 10am-2pm. Pre-entry forms available by email tim@roadrunner-starters.com
