For the next 24 hours Gull Papamoa is offering motorists cheap fuel as it belatedly celebrates the opening of its new Parton Road station.
The unmanned drive-thru site on in Papamoa East opened late last month and offers eight car placements and four car readers with a total storage capacity of 140,000 litres.

To celebrate the opening, Gull is offering reduced petrol prices at the unmanned site until 10am tomorrow.
Discounted prices include $1.999 for regular, $2.149 for Force 10 and $1.399 for Diesel.
As this is an unmanned site, payment is only via EFTPOS, debit or credit card and supermarket discount vouchers are not able to be used.
While the site is open as an unmanned outlet, if the area continues to grow rapidly Gull has the ability to add more pumps or transform the outlet to a manned site with a large forecourt and shopping facilities.
Gull, New Zealand’s first independent full retailer, also has unmanned sites in Merivale and Whakamarama.
