From Monday morning motorists will be travelling on the new southbound lanes on State Highway 2 as works continue on the Tauranga Eastern Link.
The NZ Transport Agency says there will also be other traffic changes along SH2.
Motorists are being asked to drive with care as changes to SH2 take place.
“From Sunday afternoon through to early Monday morning there will be temporary traffic management in place on SH2 in the vicinity of the Te Maunga roundabout,” says a statement from the roading agency.
otorists are asked to take extra care when driving through the new road layout on Monday morning and to expect delays as everyone adjusts to the changes.
“This work is weather dependent, and if wet, the work will be undertaken on the next suitable day.”
