Night-time road works at the northern end of Te Puke will be in place from this Sunday.
NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists travelling along State Highway 2 through Te Puke that a manual stop-go system will be in place between Atuaroa Avenue and Oroua Street.
Road works are expected to start at the northern end of Te Puke on Sunday.
The works will start at 7pm and go through until 6.30am each night and are expected to last a week.
The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists to keep to the posted 30 km/h temporary speed limit.
“As the work is being undertaken at night, the disruption to drivers is expected to be minimal,” says a statement from the roading organisation.
