Tauranga motocross rider Peter Broxholme displayed great skills at the Demon Energy New Zealand National Motocross Championship over the weekend in Hamilton.
The supercross event was the biggest to ever be held in New Zealand, according to organisers, with over 15,000 spectators.
The event showcased the best riders from New Zealand and Australia.
The vocal crowd included a sea of red shirts worn by guests of local dealer Honda Hamilton.
It was the biggest spectator turn-out of any around and the riders responded by putting on a sparkling display.
Peter is a member of the Honda motocross team and came fifth in his division.
The 2010 New Zealand National Supercross Championship starts in Timaru on January 6, 2010, where fans can look forward to seeing the Honda riders shine again.
