Commuters using Takitimu Drive to get to work are advised to expect delays or use alternative routes as a month of road work starts on Monday.
Roadworks start on Monday on Takitimu Drive.
The work is taking place between the Elizabeth Street roundabout and the Waihi Road off ramp. It is to complete the road maintenance and resurfacing started before Christmas.
The work is expected to take about four weeks to complete, depending on weather.
There will be a 30kmph speed limit through the work site and lane changes will be in place so motorists should expect delays, particularly at peak times. Tauranga City Council advises people to use an alternative route, if possible.
