August 26: NZ Rally Championship Goldrush Rally of Coromandel – Whitianga

More than 60 rally cars are expected to take part in round four of the 2017 New Zealand Rally Championship over 135km of forestry and public roads in the Coromandel on Saturday, August 26, including NZ and World Rally motorsport icon Hayden Paddon. The Mercury Bay Multisports Park in Whitianga will be rally headquarters and spectators are welcome to view the cars as they come in for servicing as well as catching the ceremonial finish in Whitianga town centre later in the day. September 9: Motorsport Bay of Plenty Day/Night Gravel Sprint – TECT All Terrain Park

Motorsport Bay of Plenty’s annual Spring Day/Night Gravel Sprint will be held at TECT All Terrain Park on Saturday, September 9 from 1-10pm. The two night runs start at 6pm. Option to do day runs only. Spectators welcome, with great viewing at the spectator point. More details available closer to the time. Visit www.mbop.org.nz

September 10: Henry Ford Memorial Day – Hamilton

The 23rd annual Henry Ford Memorial Day display and swap meet will be held at Claudelands Event Centre in Hamilton on Sunday, September 10. The event is hosted by the Waikato Mustang Owners Club and gates open at 8am. Entry is $5 per Ford vehicle/person, $10 for two or more, $5 per adult, family $10 and kids under 12 free. Swappers $15. Trade $25.
