November 28: White Ribbon motorcycle display
Great bikes and riders from around the country will descend on Fraser Cove as part of the annual White Ribbon Ride, which is helping raise money to support programmes against family violence. The Fraser Cove family event from 4pm includes a tug of war, bouncy castle and other entertainment.
November 30: BOP Vintage Car Club run to Hamilton
Vintage enthusiasts can join a run to Hamilton’s Classics Motor Show, along with a visit to the Hamilton Classic Car Museum. Club members taking part should gather at the Cliff Rd carpark from 9am for a 9.15am departure.
December 5: Tauranga Toy Run
Classic car lovers can show off their wheels for a good cause with the annual Tauranga Toy Run. To take part in the run, which is closed to Japanese cars or bikes, drivers must donate to Waipuna Hospice or toys for the Child Cancer Foundation. Meet by Baypark from 6pm, with the run through Papamoa, the Mount and Tauranga leaving at 6.30pm.

Beyond the Bay
November 23: Manawahe Hillclimb
Hillclimb enthusiasts will have a chance to prove their stuff at Rotorua Car Club’s event – and earn points in round two of Motorsport BOP’s hillclimb championships. Manawahe is an iconic rallying road, which offers drivers a few technical challenges. Details: www.mbop.org.nz
November 26-30: Burt Munro Challenge Invercargill
Southland’s annual motorcycle racing event, held as a tribute to their Indian-riding son, promises to offer something for all bike racing fans with events ranging from a hillclimb, to beach, track and street racing.

November 29-30: Meremere Spring drag racing
The IHRA National Series continues with the second round at Meremere, where drivers in all classes from junior dragster to top go head to head in the two-day Spring Nationals event. Details: www.dragway.co.nz
